"For the past two years I have suffered from a relatively rare injury called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which is basically when the nerves and arteries that go down the arms are compressed by the bone and muscle structures close to the first rib. "Over the summer, I played and pitched on the semi-professional team called the Alexandria Aces where I met Justin. Justin uses his high energy and is able to communicate techniques effectively. I was left without a strength program from my collegiate strength coach for the summer, so Justin took me under his wing and put a program together for me. We worked out together and implemented exercises to increase my strength inorder to throw. A couple weeks after working out with him, I saw a one-two mile per hour increase in pitching velocity. By the end of the summer season, I felt a lot stronger. Some of the exercises we performed include core, abdominal strengthening, speed, and plyometric exercises. We also focused a lot on stretching. After the summer, I realized how much more flexible I was. Without him, I may not have been able to stay as healthy for the rest of the season. Justin is a great guy who knows about living healthy and staying fit."
