Calf stretch

  1. Stand at the edge of a step, facing towards the steps.
  2. You should have the front part of your feet on the step, with your heels off the edge of the step.
  3. Keep your knee straightened initially (gastroc stretch) and let your heel depress over the ledge.
  4. This stretch will stretch one of the two muscles of your calf. 
  5. Then try the same stretch with your knees bent (soleus stretch).

Hold for 30 seconds. Perform this exercise a couple of times a day.
