Mid Back

Lat Stretch

The Lat muscle encompasses most of your back and is a superficial muscle that influences the arms, upper, mid, and lower back.

  1. Perform this exercise while standing, in front of a level counter or desk surface.
  2. Elevate both arms above your head, in a diver’s position.
  3. Bend forward and apply a downward force onto the level surface.
  4. Keep your head and chin tucked, with your head in the middle of your arms. 

Then slowly, squat downward, extending your legs and buttocks backwards. Perform for 30 seconds for 2-3 sessions/day.
